How long will this filter cartridge last using a filter cleaner/degreaser every three months?

Neil, The life span of the cartidge can vary greatly. On average, you should get 2-3 seasons out of the cartridge.

Hello Harald, The second picture on the product page has the best representation of the bottom of the filter cartridge. We currently have no additional photos of the cartridge.

The name matches the unit I have, however the serial # on my unit is not listed on your descriptions. The serial # on my unit is 1A02E-1 (difficult to read on unit) .

Hi Nelda, As long as you see PLM150 or then this will be the correct cartridge. You may also want to check the length of your cartridge as this cartridge measures 18-1/4" Long.

Arrived quickly. The right part. Reasonably well constructed considering things get made cheaper every year. Should last a couple years. I'm happy with that. INYO had the best price by far. I'm %100 satisfied.

Cons: does not sit in housing as securely as original
Filter was delivered in less than 3 days. Only issue I had was replacement filter does not sit in filter housing as securely as original must take precaution before closing unit.

Pros: Works immediately and effectively, price $270 taxes and delivery and duty in as opposed to $470 taxes in from my local pool place
Cons: clogs up quickly even with frequently cleanings - getting two seasons out of this was a struggle and nuisance but it is cheaper than a whole new filtrations system.
This is the second one I've bought-exactly 2 years after the first one. I take great care of my pool and this cartridge works great...at first. I think that it should last longer than 1 1/2 seasons especially since I am in Canada where the pool season is mid May to mid September. I cleaned the first filter I had frequently faithfully but the pressure kept rising in my tank by the end of the first season with it. As soon as I replaced it, it worked fine and the pressure dropped. Hope this one lasts longer than the previous one I had.

I ordered a PLM 150 on 19 May 2011. At this writing it is 3 June 2011 and still have not received the filter. I have made two calls to INYO and talked to representatives and have had no response. I understand it is the manufacturer that was to ship it. Nevertheless, they have my money and I don't have a filter. I want my filter.

Our filtration system was over specified by design so our water is ultra clean. The original filter lasted 7 years so we replaced it with same. Very satisfied with it's performance.

This filter was purchased to replace an off brand PLM100 that I purchased from another online retailer last year. The old filter was advertised "as good as" the original Sta-Rite filter. It only lasted one season and it was shot. My original Sta-Rite filter lasted 3 seasons before it needed replacing. I ordered this Sta-Rite brand filter from Inyo, and the quality is just as I thought it would be. Inyo Delivered quickly, and their customer follow up has been excellent.The were much less expensive then any where else I could find for an "original" filter.

Washing the old filter cartridge works for a while but a replacement is the simplest way to return sparkle and clarity to the water. These are easy to install - just make sure you attach that small mesh "filter" at the top and seat it firmly.
