I've got an above ground 15k gallon round pool. I'm replacing a 20 year old PLD-50. I see you have that, but also have a PLM-100 listed with over 3x more sq ft. for slightly less cost. It sounds like I'd need to clean it less often, which would be a plus. It's hard to find any information on which is the right one to get. Do you have a recommendation?

The PLM-100 is going to be a direct plumb in and yes, will not have to be cleaned as often resulting in the grid lasting longer.

I cannot get the tank back together. I have tried 2 new o-rings and it is impossible to fit the top and bottom together. 3 adults (pretty strong ones at that have tried) When one side goes down, another side comes up. I did not have this problem with the original o ring that came with the filter when I bought it 3 years ago. Is there a chance that the o ring size has changed? My dealer where I bought the filter has not been much of a help. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

It is possible that the o ring design has changed but I would try and remove the drain cap from the bottom of the filter before attempting to put the lid back together with the base. Sometimes the air pressure within the filter will work against you when attempting to assemble so releasing that pressure may aid.
