Can this be uses with a filter for 200sq ft cartridge ( same dimensions )

Hello Rob, in theory, yes you could used it in a larger filter; but we suggest that you do not. The main concern is that the smaller cartridge has a lower flowrate than the 200 sq ft cartridge which may restrict water flow or damage the cartridge. Also, the cartridge is smaller you will need to cleaner the cartridge more often.

My Century VS motor on Hayward Super Pump II was failing. My pool service had no idea what was wrong. So I researched new equipment necessary to rebuild the pump on INYOPools.com...it was the best decision I could have made. The pricing was affordable compared to the local pool companies. 1. research the parts you need & watch videos
2. get an exploded diagram of your pump & study it
3. take photos as you disassemble the pump
4. carefully reassemble the pump identically as it came apart
5. check electrical wiring for corrosion and redo electric wire connectors
6. never discount how perfect & clean the pool runs with a new filter. Buy one.
7. keep an eye on your filter pressure gauge to make sure it works. If not, change it out.
8. turn it ON and enjoy your pool

When the filter gets old, the pressure increases more quickly and therefore the cartridge needs cleaning more frequently. Living in south Florida, things are blooming all of the time. The pollen from certain palm trees really clogs up the cartridge. Easy fix is to replace the cartridge.

I have a need to replace my filter cartridge and in need of getting one at the local pool store. I was browsing on line and came across INYOPools.com and found a compatible filter (Hayward C-1200 (PA120)(C-8412) for my Hayward filter. Ordered it online with a competitive price and the cartridge was shipped in less time than expected. Replaced my old filter cartridge (no tool needed) and has been cleaning it every week or two. The filter picked up a lot of inserts that were captured. I was happy with the purchase and I end up ordering another one for spare. They had sent me a $10 discount coupon for my purchase.

MEASURE the filter in your tank - refer to that when ordering. My old Hayward had C 1750 on it HOWEVER that was too tall for my filter tank. Fortunately I ordered this one that is shorter and it fit just fine. I will say that INYO Pools did refund my money for the cartridge that was too tall, minus the $ 24.00 I spent shipping the wrong filter back - THANK YOU.

It is so much cheaper to order your pool filter through INYOpools. Your current filter has a part number on it. Simply enter that into the search and order the filter you need. It only takes a few days for it to arrive. From there you simply swap it out with your existing pool filter and you're all set. When I went to my local pool store, it was $27 more to buy the filter there. I would imagine having your pool cleaning company replace the filter would cost even more. Why pay that extra money and drive all the way to the pool store, when they can just show up on your front porch.

Called INYO pools, which put me in touch with tech support. Diagnosed the UV Rays of the Sun had degraded the base area where the bleeder valve screws down to make cartridge filter top cap water tight. Cheaply designed, Hayward did not beef up the base thick enough to prevent failure by cracking. Ordered new cartridge filter from INYO, along with an exorbitantly expensive star clear model housing cap. Put in the filter, which was INYO brand and worked great after installing the completely new housing cap. Job done in less than an hour!

Actually a MUCH better quality filter than the name brand Hayward version. Ours lasts us a little over a year, even with our pool running at the minimum 6 hours a day, dealing with the Florida heat and cleaning it every other week. Hayward filters tore apart within six months, this filter never tore, it was just time to buy a new one to ensure continued cleanliness. HIGHLY recommend this replacement cartridge, not only will you save money, but you'll be able to use it longer than the name brand.

This filter is much better made than the cheaper generics. The main differences are in the center column support member. The cheaper units tend to use a pvc tube with holes. The number of holes seem like they would impede flow and if there were more holes center tube would be weak and flex. The Hayward has a cast plastic rugged center column that provides good structural stability to the entire assembly and also the rectangular ports provide a much large flow area therby using the filter media more evenly and effectively. I would not be surprised if this filter lasted twice as long resulting in a long term savings of $20 over the $40 variety.

It fits the housing for my filter correctly. It does a normal job on cleaning the pool though the filter. This is my second filter purchased and it usually lasts approximately 18 to 24 months, before I have ordered a replacement.

This is a perfect solution to replacing my cartridge in my pool.I was informed by my pool service or that it was going to be $167 to have it replaced. We needed to replace our filter cartridge again, ours was useless. I went to another online pool supply, and the price had gone up since my last purchase. I found this one at INYOPOOLS, and decided to try it. The hard plastic parts are SO much lighter weight than other s I have used before, which REALLY makes a big difference when removing the cartridge to clean! I will absolutely buy another one to replace this one when it's used up, and maybe sooner just to have a backup! Thanks INYOPOOL.
