*NOTE* The generic filters have a top and bottom that are not listed on the blue plastic ends. The top inside diameter measures 6" and the bottom measures approximately 5-7/8". The Center Core, 100' Predator (59053700) tapers down from the top starting at 6" to accommodate the bottom measurement of the filter at 5-7/8".

Very easy to replace. Shut off all power, release air by lifting the air valve. Next take off the seal ring then lift cap off the filter. Remove by lifting the old cartridge up. Now place new cartridge filter in the filter tank. Place cover over top, tighten the ring seal back in place. Close air valve. You're finished.

THis filter was about 2/3 the price of the OE pool filter and worked just as well. I replace my filter about every 12 months. It looked the same as th OE filter and cleaned up very nicely

When the bands on the old cartridge start to slip, I know its time for a new one. I ordered the Predator Clean & Clear 100 and have been more than satisfied.....starting with the price. It compares to filter cartridges costing close to a hundred dollars in some retail stores, and does the same job. I am looking forward to ordering again from the good folks at INYO Pools.
