does the 3 hp pump 2 speed come with the basket? If not can you add one?

Hi Larry, the Hi-Flo II Spa Pump does not come with a strainer but the manufacturer has this Trap Assembly 6", 2" Union x 2" MBT - 310-6600 that can be added if you wish.
