I need to connect my new Hayward PowerFlo Matrix pump to my old Waterway Clearwater II filter housing. Will this part work?

Hi Steve, You will need the 1-1/2" Union Male Thd (SP1480BLK) or the Waterway Coupling Assembly (419-7220) to connect your Hayward pump to your Waterway filter.

how do u know when a cl200 chlorinator is malfunctioning.

The most common indicator this unit is malfunctioning is an extended length of time to dissolve tablets. Most tablets will dissolve within 2 weeks and you will notice them reducing in size. Tablets not dissolving could be a result of a clogged valve.

I just purchased a Hayward SP1580X15 Power-Flo LX Series 1-1/2-Horsepower Above-Ground Pool Pump; the hose that I have WILL NOT work for this pump. I'm not sure what I need to purchase? A "union" all my other pumps prior to this have fit my Sand Dollar sand filter. This new Hayward pump is threaded differently! Please help. I just drained my pool cleaned it and refilled it. I live in a small town therefore; no access to pool parts!

Hi Barb, You will need the Union Adapter (417-4060) in order to connect this pump to your Sand Dollar Filter using the union hose.

I purchased a Hayward motor/pump powerflo matrix, it has 2 7/8' threads, trying to connect it to Proline(Waterway?) filter that had 3" threads. Will this part work? I also need a part for the water intake, from pool into Hayward pump-2 7/8". Old intake was 3".

Hi, Bob. This union will work on the Power-Flo Matrix Pump but accepts a 1-1/2" FPT fitting because it has 1-1/2" MPT end. To be able to use this union, you will have to use a reducer on the filter intake port to step it down to accept the 1-1/2" MPT.

The product worked but I used the other product I ordered from your company wasn't sure which one would fit - need to return this product
