can u tell me what the operating temperature for this motor is? I've just hooked mine up to my pool pump and it seems to me running very hot and I don't want to burn the motor up.

Mike- The 5238-109 Emerson Sq.fl 2hp Uprated 115/230v (eb859) runs at 50 degrees Celsius above ambient temperature. It will be very hot to the touch.
