What causes an impeller to go bad?

Impellers can fail due to debris, striking its face or improper water chemistry. If your pool has sustained high chlorine levels it may deteriorate the impeller's plastic; this is commonly seen in a pump when the pool owner uses their pump or skimmer basket to hold chlorine tablets.

The correct impeller for your PB460 made in 2018 is the Impeller for PB4-60 - R0536400Unfortunately due to the Texas Freeze this impeller is out of stock at the moment. We are expecting a new shipment at the end of May.
