Yes this impeller will work with a 2 horse power uprate motor but it needs to be for a Waterway Hi Flo and or an AG side discharge spa pump.

Hi Ed. To remove the impeller you will twist the impeller off in a counter clockwise motion has you are looking from the wet end of the pump.
