LATERAL & MANIFOLD ASSY. FOR 19"
When ordering a Lateral for my Waterway 1.5HP Multiport Sand Filter where would I measure for proper replacement part. You list them from 16" to 26". Also our screen parts are threaded in at bottom of lateral not clip in style. Would we be able to get the style that flip up for easier removal from filter. We currently have to unscrew one at a time to remove them on our filter because they are too wide to remove from top.

Hi Bob, This measurement is referring to the Waterway filter itself and not the length of the lateral. The easiest way would be if you could find the model # off of the label on your filter... FS016 = 16", FS019 = 19", FS022 = 22", and FS026 = 26". Also you can check to see how much sand the filter needs this also should be found on the label.. 16" Model - 50 lbs., 19" Model - 100 lbs., 22" Model - 150 lbs. and 26" Model - 200 lbs. Finally if you cannot find a label then you could measure across the face of the filter tank it should measure close to one of the filter measurements.

Pros: easy to assemble inside filter
Sand in the Pool. This was ordered and came two days later. Excellent. Got the old one out and new one assembled inside the filter in record time. Works great.
