I need parts for my filter valve. When I look at the filter parts breakdown, it gives me different choices. How do I know which one is the one I need?

In order to locate the correct parts we will need to know the model number of the filter valve. Two identical filters can have two different valves. Typically the valve model will be located on the label of the valve. If there is no model number on the valve, you can try to see if there are any part numbers on the valve itself. Once you've located you valve model you can check out our >Filter Valve Parts.

How do i determine if i need the 18201-0200H or 18201-0200?

Hi Brian, The 18201-0200H is used if you have hoses for your plumbing where the 18201-0200 would be used for hard plumbing.

You are not going to be able to just get the gasket for that valve, it comes with the key assembly as well. That is part number 4685-02.

I have a Sta-Rite 2" Multi Port Valve.(18201-0200. My handle has gotten hard to turn. After I backwash, it spits sand back into the pool. Will a rebuild kit fix it?

I have a union collar(bottom one) that split on my 18201-0200h filter that slip nut unions and collars that I've purchased don't fit to make a repair. Do I have to purchase the entire valve because the collars are factory installed? If so, the picture doesn't show the 2 union collars. Are the collars already factory installed on the valve piping? If not, how does it attach to the filter? Thank you

Yes you would need to replace the entire valve.

Unfortunately we do not have a nut only or a split nut that fits the bulkhead filter fittings.
