Hi. The o-ring is placed in the groove located on the filter lid. You will also need to lubricate the o-ring before installing.

The O-ring on my filter/pump is 12"x 1/4" in size. It is a Predator filter with a Tropica pump. I found one in the separation tank area. Will this O-ring fit my filter?

This is the correct o-ring for the Predator cartridge filter lid.

I replaced the large 9.5 inch O-Ring on my pentair warrior filter and it still leaks, but only on one side. The O ring fit very tight had to streach it a bit . Is there more than one size, you only show one.

Hi, Roger. There is only one size tank o-ring for the Warrior filter, this Tank O-ring - 4652-03.

I want to purchase this O ring and just before I do I want to make sure it is for Pentair model no. 160354 so I do not order the wrong thing. Mine says Clean and Clear but i do not see the work Predator on it anywhere. I would appreciate a reply at your earliest convenience so I can order it.

This is the correct o ring for the Clean and Clear, the Predator was an old model name that uses the same oring

Easy Bree’s you repair take off lid remove large o ring. Lubricate new o ring and install.

Filter was leaking at the tank body and cover joint o-ring

Shut off electricity to water quality system
1. Close inlet and outlet filter valves.
2. Vent filter and drain to point below o-ring
3. Remove locking ring and filter cover.
4. Remove existing o-ring
5 Coat new o-ring with with o-ring lubricant and install on filter body
6. Install cover and locking ring.
7. Refill filter, venting air until a bubble free stream is obtained.
8. Close vent, and open inlet and outlet valves.
9.Project is done.
