Hi, Bryan. Yes, if your changing out the motor and those seals are original. You may also want to replace the Diffuser/ Impeller Hardware too.

I have a 2004 model Jandy Stealth 2.0hp Pump. I am told I must replace the "Seal Plate O-Ring." Is this part the same as the Back plate o ring? I can't seem to read the ID/Serial# tag on the Jandy Pump. Please let me know if you understand and can answer my question. Thank you!

Hi Jeff, often times the seal plate o ring is also referred to as the backplate seal or o ring. If you can provide us with the specific Jandy Stealth model pool pump that you have then we can locate that seal for you. If you cannot then can you send a photo of a wide shot of your complete pool pump to show the pipes going in and out of the pump? To supply this photo simply click the reply link below and upload your photo or quickest using our live online chat feature. Once we get this photo or model number we can make the proper recommendation for the seal.
