Our slinger is 1.5 inches. Will the 1.25 inch do the job? We aren't having a problem with the pump but took it apart to clean after having to vacuum a lot of pine needles from the pool last year. The slinger is starting to crack around the inside circle. If there are no replacement parts available what are my options?

Hi, Jean. If you can provide the motor PART, CAT or MOD # we can locate the correct slinger for that motor.

Do new motors come with the water sling? Is it a pretty flimsy piece of rubber?

Hello Henry - The water slinger is a thin rubber seal. The water slinger slides down the shaft of the motor and sits near the face of the motor.
