Replacement water slinger.

my pump sta-rite JWPS5F7L-2A2 the shaft seal is leakingand i would like to replace it I just want to make sure about the slinger ring and shaft seal part numbers so i can order it because the page says the slinger ring is no longer available

Hi Larry, The Shaft Seal is still available however the slinger is no longer available.

Our slinger is 1.5 inches. Will the 1.25 inch do the job? We aren't having a problem with the pump but took it apart to clean after having to vacuum a lot of pine needles from the pool last year. The slinger is starting to crack around the inside circle. If there are no replacement parts available what are my options?

This is not an easy part to find. The part fit my pump motor shaft well and protects my new motor bearings.
