Do you have any instructions on how to remove this part as I do not want to break it?

the hoses keep getting tangled up. will a new cone and bearing help this?

Hello, yes the bearing/cone would help with this, also if your hose is a little older I recommend laying your hose in the sun for about 30 minutes to straighten hose out.

Is this compatible with the older Kreepy Crawlers. I do not know my model but know it is at least 20 years old.

Pros: Works well for system to navigate around pool.
Cons: I think it wore out too quickly.
What I liked about this particular part is that it lasts quite a long time. It maintains shape and does the work as it should.

Pros: order & part accuracy, cost, promptness
We have had to order various parts for our kreepy krauly to keep it operating this year. The parts are not available locally and we love the product. It's such a pleasure to have the parts clearly inventoried and available thru Inyo. We have saved a considerable amount of money buying just the parts we need instead of replacing the entire unit. This should correct the problem we have been having with the Kreepy Krauly which was not moving around pool as it did, when new, 10 years ago. The Kreepy Krauly does an excellent job of keeping the pool clean and we particularly like it because there is no electrical involved.
