what will cause my cleaning hose to twist around itself as the haward vac XL is cleaning? It turns by hand when out of water and continues to turn one let go for a couple seconds. Could it need a new turbine kit? This has just started to happen, the only thing I did was to unhook the hoses and cleaned them with clear water during my spring pool vac cleaning. Thank you.

The hoses tangling on this model cleaner could be caused by a number of issues. Such as pad pods, shoes, a frames, or even the gear box kit. I recommend to have the cleaner inspected by a local technician to confirm which parts are bad.
