This product is intended for if you get too much suction it sucks in water so that your pool cleaner isn't going crazy and trying to jump out of the pool.

Pros: Works well.

Cons: But only on the deepest part of pool.

My pool is lap size. 4' to 8'. The vacuum regulator (if this controls the vacuum movements) does'nt move the vacuum from one end of the pool to the other?
