Our gate and door alarm is designed to alert you upon an unauthorized entry into your pool area. The Yard Guard alarm meets or exceeds state barrier alarm codes. Simply install the contact set (included) on the desired gate or door, install the alarm's sentry, and it is ready to protect your pool area. Unauthorized entry causes a loud (120 DB) alarm to sound.

Can additional sensors be used with this alarm?

According to the manufacturer, only one sensor can be used with the YG03 alarm. There is another model, YG04, which can be used with multiple contact sets. You can see the YG04 at http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07731267029272.htm. Please note that for this alarm the contact set(s) and the bypass button are sold separately.

Are there any height requirements for installation for the Yard Guard Gate/Door Alarm?

Yes. The unit must be installed at minimum height of 54", or high enough to be out of the reach of children.

Pros: great safety device, peace of mind
Cons: cost (but worth it)
You must have this to protect your children from wandering out to the pool.
