Can additional sensors be used with this alarm?

According to the manufacturer, only one sensor can be used with the YG03 alarm. There is another model, YG04, which can be used with multiple contact sets. You can see the YG04 at http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07731267029272.htm. Please note that for this alarm the contact set(s) and the bypass button are sold separately.

Are there any height requirements for installation for the Yard Guard Gate/Door Alarm?

Yes. The unit must be installed at minimum height of 54", or high enough to be out of the reach of children.

Are there any types of alarms that would work on chain link fencing ?

Jane, No due to the fact that there isn't a flat surface to mount the alarm and the gap between the post for the gate is too wide, the magnetic sensors would not be able to make contact.

Does the alarm stay on if the gate remains open? We are having problems with our kids leaving our gates open and the dogs are getting out! I need an alarm that will stay on until the gates are closed!

Hi, Once armed if the gate opens the alarm will sound until the gate closes.
