I have a Dolphin E10. I have heard that there is a fine filter basket for it. The number is Dolphin 9991460-ASSY Cartridge Assembly. Is this true and isn't the basket that came with the robot already the fine filter?
Will the ultra fine filter for the Dolphin E10 pick up pollen and/or mustard algae.
The 9991459-ASSY Spring Filter Cartridge Assembly http://www.inyopools.com/Products/14700005088007.htm is the suggested basket for the finer debris like pollen that you will experience in the spring.
Will this cartridge fit a Dolphin E20?

Not sure if it is silt, fine sand, or even undissolved chemicals/bindings, but we had a lot of fine material on the bottom of the pool eating the chlorine and making the pool cloudy. All it took was literally changing out the basket from the OEM unit to the Ultra Fine unit and it couldn't be easier. Using the Ultra Fine Filter Cartridge did the trick, even if it took multiple passes.

This really does the job of getting out fine silt, sand, and particles from the bottom of your pool. I would imagine this would do as good or better of a job of getting fine debris while flocking than using the traditional method and wasting water and re-balancing, too. All you need to do is slip this in place of the OEM filter that comes with a Maytronics Dolphin Inground Robotic Pool Cleaner (E20, in my case). It couldn't be easier. This unit comes pre-assembled, but you can also purchase just the panels to replace on the outside of your existing cartridge assembly. There does seem to be a small issue with the clasping mechanism at the bottom. I reached out to Maytronics and they fixed the issue immediately. I could not have been happier with their customer service nor the way they handled my issue.
