The GRCAPSC48 measures approximately 10.5" Long X 3" Wide (Without the unions). This product is also the replacement cell for the RC42, Soft Touch ST-48, Digital DIG-48 and the AP-250. GRCAPSC48 cells produces 100% pure sodium hypochlorite in your pool plumbing returning it to your pool.

**The OEM SC-60 and CC-15 will have three terminals, while the Compu Pool GRC/AP/SC60 and GRC/AP/CC-15 will have two terminals. The Compu Pool GRC has a built in sensor so a third terminal is not required. Align two open holes with two mating terminals and push gently, but firmly, to connect.
about 7 years ago i bouth a autopilot salt chlorinator with you and now it seems like the salt cell SC-48 is not working anymore. Can you tell me if the Generic Grac/AP/SC48 salt cell is fitting as a replacement cell to my system?
Hi Robert, Yes this GRCAPSC48 salt cell is the proper replacement salt cell for your AutoPilot SC-48.
what is the advantage to use your cell instead of autopilot and does is come with the same connector
The main benefit to the after market autopilot cell is the price and the same quality cell. The aftermarket autopilot cell has 2 prongs but fits the autopilot 3 prong cord without problem.
Is the generic Auto Pilot SC48 Salt Cell compatible with the Magen 305px A5 blue cell?
Hi David!, Unfortunately, The generic Auto Pilot SC48 cell is not compatible with the magen 305px A5 blue cell. Thank you.
(4 out of 5 stars) Generic Salt Cell Auto Pilot SC48

Pros: Less expensive and direct installation
Cons: First time to subsitute a generic item. Testng reliability
Using the generic product saved approximately 40% on the replacement which is needed about every two years. Installation is direct with no adaptation needed. The system worked immediately with all my sensors working properly. If the length of service is close to original the generic will be a good buy when tied with the savings.
(5 out of 5 stars) Good alternative to pricer OEM

Pros: Less expensive, yet works just as well
Cons: None as of yet
I needed a replacement SC-48 cell for my AutoPilot system, and was lured by the lower price point. The generic cell fits well and was installed without any issues. For the past week, it has functioned perfectly with the native equipment: no error cords and the chlorine levels are ideal. The only question remaining is whether the generic brand is as durable as the OEM. My old cell lasted about 5 years of regular use and brutal AZ summers... let's see if Compupool is up to par.

This cell has been working very well with my Dig-220 for the past 2 weeks. Great chlorine production with no problems or warnings. I was a bit skeptical before buying but am very pleased with the results.
