Alpha Above Ground Pools by Cornelius
*Pool shown in picture above is an oval pool
After a long, hot day, what could be more inviting for parents and kids than coming home to your own pool. It's a whole new world of laughter and water-splashed family fun in the comfort of your own yard. And CORNELIUS leads the way with a wide range of affordable above ground pools.
Designed for fun and built to stay that way
Incredible value is built right into our ALPHA above ground pool. Designed with active families in mind, the ALPHA features strength and beauty as an attractive addition to any family's home. The ALPHA boasts a completely integrated construction from the ground up. Three key components form the sturdy backbone of this pool—the wall, frame and sub-frame. We start with a heavy gauge steel wall. Featuring a standard skimmer cut out, it is hot-dip galvanized and given additional weather protection by the application of polyester "Weatherizer" paint coating. An attractive wall pattern is added and then sealed with our resilient "Krystal Kote®" coating, which provides an extra barrier from the elements and pool chemicals. The cognac colored pool frame includes a 6-inch steel ledge and 5-inch steel post, each protected with polyester paint and clear "Krystal Kote®" topcoat. Two-piece injection molded resin caps complete the structure. The sub-frame consists of double-rolled steel tracks joined with large, heavy gauge connectors and oversize hardware.
Do it yourself Installation
If you're handy with a screwdriver, then you can easily assemble your own CORNELIUS pool. We've designed each pool to make installation a problem-free joy—no multi-sized washers or nuts to worry about. Just one large screw type is used to assemble the entire pool and we provide easy to follow instructions.
A size to fit any yard
The ALPHA is available in 48" and 52" depths and in a variety of Round and A-Brace Oval sizes. A wide selection of liners is also available to make your new pool the centerpiece of your back yard.

I notice that your pools don't come with the liner. Why? Who would want a pool with no liner?
Reply
A majority of our customers already have a liner that they may have purchased in advance and just need the pool (structure). If you are purchasing a pool package then a liner is already included. If you are putting a pool package together (other than what we have on our site) or purchasing a pool only, then the liner would need to be purchase separately.

(5 out of 5 stars) Surpassed our expectations!

Pros: The order was processed in a reasonable time. All the parts were well constructed. Great customer service!
Cons: Two items in the instructions were confusing: The directions for the top panels seemed incomplete, giving part of the steps for aligning the screw holes, but then leaving out the screw alignment for
After buying a new liner and skimmer, we realized our above ground pool of 22 years was not going to make it through another month. I searched the web and local area for deals, and no one could beat INYO Pool Products for price and product. Not being familiar with this company, I was sceptical, but everytime I had a question, I was answered promptly and given all the information I needed to make an informed decision. Even after I ordered the pool, the customer service team was helpful in making sure it was delivered and in good condition. We are more than satisfied, and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a pool, or pool products.

Pros: High quality
Cons: The original pool had a wooden pool deck, the new pool was approx. 3 inches longer and had to trim some of the wood deck, Not a big deal, was worth to do it to get the higher quality pool.
We are extremely happy with our new the alpha pool. The quality is great, we brought an Alpha pool 18 years ago and wanted to replace it. At first we made the mistake of buying just any oval 12 x 18 and had purchased a different brand. Boy!.. did we make a mistake.... and a costly one.... we had to return it and of course lost money.. The quality was not the same. We research until we found Inyo pool which carried high quality above ground pool and they had the alpha oval. Thank you Inyo, our pool is stalled and we are enjoying it.

(3 out of 5 stars) Nice pool but very difficult installation
Reviewed By: William W. from Medford, OR ()
Pros: Nice finished look, nice filter system, nice capacity,
Cons: Difficult to install. Takes multiple people, miles of patience
This pool is very nice but the installation is much more difficult then they describe. They say "if you're handy with a screwdriver, then you can easily install this pool". Not even close to the truth as there's nothing remotely easy about trying to install this pool. First of all, the instructions are poor at best. Multiple steps to perform with diagrams and little written narrative in support. Five to 10 diagram steps are accompanied by a sentence of narrative. There are obviously nuiances or tricks to installing this type of pool that are not provided in the instructions. I've been working on this off and on for around a month now in my spare time around work and almost have it finished. The pool wall sits in tracks and then sand has to be added to support the liner. If you're going to try this pool then beware that the metal wall constantly comes out of the track and the sand you added under the liner fills the tracks and you can't get the wall back in the tracks. It literally takes 5 or 6 people to hold the wall while you're trying to keep it in the tracks. I had to start over at getting the wall back in the track after the sand was in place which required at least 30 lbs of sand to be pulled back from the wall. I found out the hard way that it is much easier to keep the wall in the track if you use duct tape and tape the bottom track to the wall so it can't jump out. Stretching the liner to fit the pool is also another difficult task which I've worked on in my spare time for about a week. I called Inyo for support as I had a bunch of trouble trying to stretch the liner to fit the pool and I was afraid I might tear the liner. The support person I got on the phone did not seem to know much about it. One of my upright support caps was cracked when I finally got down to the end of the dozens of parts that come with this pool. I called to get it replaced and was told the manufacturer would be emailed to send a replacement. I was also told I would get an email when it was being sent out. I believe it's now been a month or more and I've heard nothing from anyone. No emails and no replacement part has been received. Don't know why the delay. Also not sure who the manufacturer is, but I ordered the pool here and they haven't replaced the part as of yet. If the part was broken, how long should it take to simply send you another one. Come on. It's only a plastic cap piece. To recap, this is a really nice pool and it looks nice as well. But beware that the installation is a bear and not for any novice. It takes a lot more then being "handy with a screwdriver" to get this job done! Because of the difficulty in installation I've rated this pool with only 3 stars. I have indicated I would recommend the product to a friend but only if they read my review and understand what they are getting themselves into. For anyone purchasing this pool, I hope your installation goes smoother.
