How many lumens does this bulb rated at?

Hi Andy, This bulb has a Lumen Rating of 2600 Lumens in the white setting and a Lumen Rating of 850 Lumens in color settings. Standard incandescent pool lights have a Lumen Rating of 3,000 in the white light setting so the brightness is very close.

Does anyone know the difference between the PL5808 and the PL5858. The both appear to have the same specs, same # of LED, same warranty, and same number of colors and light shows.

Hello Matthew- Simply put, the V2 is the newest model. We made the following adjustments to the V2: The PureColors v2 uses a higher quality material for the bulb housing meaning longer bulb life.The new housing design on the PureColors v2 means lower heat dispersion resulting in longer bulb life. Stronger base screw-in base.

I am buying a replacement light fixture, Amerilite 78435100, and I want a selectable color light.
What's the difference between the Colorsplash LXG LED LPL-P2-RGB-12 and the PL5858?

In our oppinion, the quality between the PureLine Pure Colors and the Colorsplash are equivalent however the price point on the Pure Colors is much better, so this is why we would suggest the Pure Colors.

Screwdriver, Adjustable Wrench

First I was unsure if my existing light fixture was compatible with this bulb. I grabbed the goggles and a screwdriver and within about 2 minutes I had the fixture sitting on my pool deck and snapped some photos of the label.
Goggles back on and reinserted the fixture into the niche. Went to inyopools.com and posted a question along with the photo of the fixture I had taken within 12 hours I received a response from the inyopools.com experts informing me that the led bulb would be compatible. I immediately ordered the bulb.
To my surprise the bulb was delivered the very next day. I also ordered a replacement gasket as the old one seemed a little worn. Armed with the new bulb, my goggles and screwdriver I removed the fixture again and pooped off the lens. There was some slight build up on the fixture so I gave it a light scrub to ensure that the new gasket would seal correctly. Screwed the bulb in and placed the lens in place and tightened for the seal.
Installed the fixture and tested the light. It worked! Total job took about 20 minutes.

We just completed a new pool refinish and it was a good time to change out the light while the pool was empty. Pool size: 28' x 15.5" Pool finish Diamond Bright Marlin Blue. One single light at the deep end of the pool. I would give this Pure Colors Led Light a 5 Star rating! Overall review, we love the versatility of the light and 16 programs you can choose from. The light show is wonderful to watch. The LEDs throw light very well to the other end of the pool, with the exception of the red LEDs, which I believe has to do with the red color wavelength. I would recommend buying up to the 35-watt bulb for a little more money for better overall lighting. Along with the energy saving Led bulbs, which will reduce substantially my operational costs, I feel much better about leaving the pool light on longer. This bulb was installed in an American Products pool light, Model R-100 BC, replacing an old GE 12v 100 watt pool bulb. I would recommend an extra hand compressing down the new gasket as you re-screw in the clips along the rim to prevent cross threading the screws at a slight angle. Other than that I would consider this an easy install for someone who would like to save a little money and DIY. At the local pool supply store, a similar Led Pool bulb would cost me about $300.00, not including the cost of install. Incredible display of lights colors, light show, and potency. The previous one light was fairly good, but this one (38 watts) is incredible. Great upgrade, for a very good low price. Pool size: 10,500 gal Pool dimensions: 25’x13’ Pool color: Light blue Pool lights: ONLY 1 Pool light rate 1-5: 5
