How many lumens does this bulb rated at?

Hi Andy, This bulb has a Lumen Rating of 2600 Lumens in the white setting and a Lumen Rating of 850 Lumens in color settings. Standard incandescent pool lights have a Lumen Rating of 3,000 in the white light setting so the brightness is very close.

Does anyone know the difference between the PL5808 and the PL5858. The both appear to have the same specs, same # of LED, same warranty, and same number of colors and light shows.

Hello Matthew- Simply put, the V2 is the newest model. We made the following adjustments to the V2: The PureColors v2 uses a higher quality material for the bulb housing meaning longer bulb life. The new housing design on the PureColors v2 means lower heat dispersion resulting in longer bulb life. Stronger base screw-in base.

I am buying a replacement light fixture, Amerilite 78435100, and I want a selectable color light. What's the difference between the Colorsplash LXG LED LPL-P2-RGB-12 and the PL5858?

In our oppinion, the quality between the PureLine Pure Colors and the Colorsplash are equivalent however the price point on the Pure Colors is much better, so this is why we would suggest the Pure Colors.

HI I am looking to swap the bulb on my pool light and not sure if this bulb will work. I know that it's a 12V system but I am not sure if the light fixture is compatible. The numbers on the back label are as follows: E41117 UL Inc. No. U-569964 Label # 98700600 Pentair Pool Products Inc. Thanks!

Hi, Aaron. We will need to know the fixture series number(s) in order to confirm compatibility. There should be another sticker on the fixture with that info.

Right now I'm controlling my white pool light by Intermatic RC613 receiver, will purecolor bulb#pl5858 work with this light switch?
 Reply

A  Answered on 3/24/2020 by InyoPools Product Specialist Hector F.

Yes, your Intermatic RC613 will be able to control the Pureline PL5858. Being that your switch is merely an on/off switch for the circuit, it will work with this bulb.

Looking to replace pool light and use with a Jandy Aqualink controller. Would this bulb be able to cycle through the color selections using the RS4/PDA controller?
 Reply

A  Answered on 3/28/2020 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

Yes you can control the colors through your AquaLink, you will do this by simply turning the light function on and off within the Aqualink. You do not get the light show readout on the controller but by simply turning the light on and off you can cycle through the shows.

If I wanted to use this type of color LED bulb, convert my 120v to 12v, and replace my ColorLogic with new fixture, which works with Aqualink controller....what would be the best overall cost-effective option? I don’t want to get “tied” back into $700-800 light again which can’t be maintained. The junction box is about 10-12 feet away from light. (See attachment)
