My Hayward H400IDL heater flashes "SF" and he heater is not heating properly. Hayward. Hayward says it is my heat senor. If I replace my control board will this be the fix? Dean

Hi Dean, If the temperature sensor is not bad as the "SF" error code indicates then it could be a defective board. I would have a service technician inspect the unit to be sure.

Hi, Stecve. None of the H-Series Low NOx model numbers ends with IDXL. You're getting the replacement part number and the mixed up

My heater Hayward h250 when turned on lights up service light and automaticity comes up HF error code checked voltage at gas valve there is no power going to it is there anything else to check or does that mean the board is bad

Since you're not getting 24 VAC at the gas valve, you will have the replace the Integrated Control Board based on your model.

My Hayward h400 , flashes code AO with service light on. I checked to see if the blower was bad and it appears to be good? I’m not sure where to go next? I checked the plug at the circuit board and there is no power? I’m guessing it is the board then? Hayward Integrated Control Board - IDXL2ICB1931

Hi, Nick. That code can be caused by several issues including a faulty  Blower, Control Module/Ignition Board, Blower Vacuum Switch and or Gray Vacuum Tubing. A detailed diagnostic of all the components will have to be done to determine which one is bad.

I did my diagnostic, the blower is not getting power from the control board. There is power to the control board and the blower runs with direct power to it. My current board has this number 1103042301, is this the correct board for a h400?

I replaced my heat exchanger for my Hayward H400FD I’m getting a HS code. After the code I put the temp sensor from the old unit in and the same result. I’m thinking my PSV3S valves are set wrong when I opened up the pool. Could that be the issue or ICB has failed?

Hi, Rick G. The issue could be caused by low water flow, if the thermostat is set above 108°F., clogged tube bundle and or a faulty control board. If your diverter valve is not in the proper position it can cause this issue.

1. Use the MODE button and place the heater in STANDBY mode. 2. Press and hold the UP and Down buttons at the same time. Wait three seconds. 3. The SPA indicator light illuminates and the display shows the current Max Temp Lock-out setting. 4. Use the up and down buttons to set the desired Max Temp Lock-out setting. 5. Press the mode button and the POOL indicator light illuminates. 6. Follow the same sequence as with the SPA settings above. 7. Press the mode button again to return to STANDBY

I am sorry Leaonardo,  The best people to talk to on this one would be Hayward the manufacturer.  They could get someone out there to look at it.  I would just be taking guesses.
