Looks like this pump comes with or without the SVRS - what's the difference?
 Reply

The SVRS, or Safety Vacuum Release System, helps prevent suction entrapment without additional devices, plumbing, or wiring. It meets or exceeds all relevant ASME/ANSI standards.

We have an existing control system that can send RS232/RS485 serial commands or had 8 no/nc dry contacts. Can we use your motor and connect directly to same to control the speed and times?

Hi Ken, If you feel you can go down to a 1.65 HP Variable Speed Pump then you could go with this 1.5 H.P. Variable Speed Tri Star Pump if you need to stay with a 2.7 HP Variable Speed Pump then I would suggest this Waterway 2.7 HP Variable Speed Pump
