The dolphin triton says the cartridge filter system is optional. Is there a filter system included? If so, what type of system?

Hi Tom, The cartridges filter out finer debris. I personally have used both on my pool and like the cartridges much better as they are easier to clean and filter out finer debris.

I am looking to buy a new dolphin cleaner. My premier model just died on me because I left it in hard pool water for probably three weeks straight submerged. Unfortunately I need to buy another one, with looking on line there seems to be many different models with many different cost points. It seems like the more expensive units have the same specifications except for their warranties are better
. What would be recommended for a Pool 40 x 15 at 6 foot depth

Which Dolphin system will remove alage and fine debri as well as some large debri. I am on a very tight budget. New owner, new to pool maintenance.

We have a very large Dolphin pool and we are in the market for a new robotic pool cleaner. Our pool is approx. 13mx6m and holds approx. 130,000litres of water. Will this unit be sufficient? At one end of the pool it is about 7ft or more deep? Or is there another unit you would recommend?

Traci, The Dolphin Triton is a sufficient size pool cleaner for your swimming pool. It is recommended for in-ground residential pools up to 50 ft. in length. With the dimensions provided your pool is roughly 42ft x 19ft. Will this clean a 70'x13' pool, and can I use a 12 gauge extension cord with it?

Hi, This Cleaner can be used to clean a 13'x70' pool. The manufacturer does not recommend the use of an extension cord, the power supply must be plugged directly into an outlet.
