The dolphin triton says the cartridge filter system is optional. Is there a filter system included? If so, what type of system?

Hi Tom, The cartridges filter out finer debris. I personally have used both on my pool and like the cartridges much better as they are easier to clean and filter out finer debris.

I am looking to buy a new dolphin cleaner. My premier model just died on me because I left it in hard pool water for probably three weeks straight submerged. Unfortunately I need to buy another one, with looking on line there seems to be many different models with many different cost points. It seems like the more expensive units have the same specifications except for their warranties are better . What would be recommended for a Pool 40 x 15 at 6 foot depth

Which Dolphin system will remove alage and fine debri as well as some large debri. I am on a very tight budget. New owner, new to pool maintenance. Thank you.

Hi Renee, The Dolphin Triton Pool Cleaner w/ Caddy (99996356) can pick up algae and some fine debris up to 5 -10 microns.

Pros: Moves Fast, no bag, and cleans everything in its path.

Cons: none.

The Dolphin triton is amazing. It's quick, bagless and picks up everything in its way.

Pros: Easy to use and clean

Cons: None

I am very happy with this cleaner. Have had other cleaners in the past but this is the best so far. Plug it in and let it go. Very efficient.
