Yes this is the gneric replacement cartridge for the Pentair Clean & Clear Plus 420 Filter (CCP420 - Model # 160301). The CCP420 use 4 cartridges and this is for one cartridge.

Hi Dee, On the outside of the filter canister would have a sticker that have the Manufacture info, operating specs and the model of the filter. You can find out by that model number.

The number 178585 references to the Pentair Clean & Clear Model 520. That cartridge filter uses the Pentair Clean & Clear Plus 520 Sq. Ft. Replacement Cartridge.

I'm looking for replacement filters for my pool pump. It's a Pentair Pump with 4 filters. It looks like the model #'s are : 178569 or R173572; 178584 or R173576; 178580 or R173573. I purchased the pool in 1995. I did have filters replaced once. I think the receipt shows 320 cartridge. Do you have filters that would fit my pump and what is cost. Thank you,

I have 4 Pentair pool filters part number 178584/R173574 which are 7 inches diameter and 26.06 inches long; 10 microns and 105 Square Feet each. They may be 15 years old. OEM part number R173576 keeps coming up instead of R173574 printed on my filters. Will Clean & Clear Plus 105 Replacement Cartridge (PCC105) - PL0120 replace what I have?
