Is this the correct generic Filter for the Pentair EasyClean Cartridge Element, 60 GPM, 15 Square feet- 196039 and will it properly fit and function in the Pentair ECDE60?

so far is working fine in my Hayward pump. Hard to clean but that is not the filter issue its the amount of stuff i had in the pool due to my bad hayward filter.

Searched for original pool filter cartridges with no success. These work great. The local pool supply store wanted $82 each for them. Ordered the week before Memorial day and was promptly informed that this is their busiest time, but still received the filters in 3-days.

Was apprehensive about using a non-OEM part, but this Unicell cartridge for my Pentair Clean and Clear 240 filter is performing exactly to the standard I was hoping for. As noted by Poolboy my psi also dropped from 30 to 10 psi, and the price per cartridge was significantly less than an OEM replacememt/
