Please explain the difference between the standard dolphin replacement filter bags, disposable filter bags, how often to replace, can you just pull out and wash?

The standard dolphin replacement filter bags are designed to handle finer debris like sand and silt and these bags typically lasts 3 years. The standard bags also can be washed in a washing machine using no detergent. The disposable filter bags are designed to handle larger debris like leaves and twigs and are recommended when opening the pool in the spring or closing the pool in the fall. I need a part for my Dolphin pool cleaner but I don't see it on the parts breakdown. Is there still a chance you may still have it?

The manufacturer which is Maytronics, does not offer all parts for sale. If you don't see a part on the breakdown you can give us a call. For parts that they do not consider "DIY (do it yourself), you will need to contact them and send in the cleaner for repair.

The Filter Bag Dolphin (dlf-r) (9995430-ASSY) would be considered as the "Fine Mesh" filter bag, verses the Coarse Filter Bag (9995431-ASSY)

Hello Alanna, this 3295-170 will not work with the Dolphin Premier, there is a conversion kit-Filter Bag Assy w/ Bottom Lid Conversion Kit - 99954305-RK1 which works with your Premier Cleaner. All bag sizes are standard, if you would like to check with Maytronics 888-365-7446 to check if they have an oversized bag part number available.

Hi...i have the 2001 model.....you show the 2002 model listed. I was looking for the filter bag, which you have. It looks like it would work with 2001 model.....am i correct?

We purchased a Dolphin Commander Auto Vac in June/July 2010 and are in need of a new filter bag. Can you provide me with part number/price? The only thing I could find on the unit was USA 8002156 Ver 01 and 346004YS47.

Is there a filter bag for a dolphin DX3? If so what is the filter number.

Hi Carolyn, If you currently have the cartridge assembly in your Dolphin DX3 then you would need to purchase this Dolphin DX3 Bottom Lid Assembly and this PL4301 Dolphin DX3 Bag. You then would have a cartridge kit and a bag kit for your Dolphin cleaner. I use a similar set up on my Dolphin where I run the bag in the spring to pick up the big leaves and once the big stuff is all picked up then I switch over to the cartridges. This gives you the best of both worlds and is really the only way to go!

Hi David, If you would like to switch over to bag for your Dolphin Nautilus then you will need to purchase this Dolphin Bag Bottom Lid Assembly as well as this Dolphin Cleaner Bag. I use this exact setup with my Dolphin cleaner. I use the bag when I get heavy leaf debris and then once I get that heavy debris cleaned up I switch back over to the cartridges for finer debris. I really like having both!
