Hi Tom, If your 18" Purex triton Meteor high rate sand filter was manufactured before June 2004 then you would require the 55007800 Meteor Complete Drain Assembly Before June 2004 If you think your filter is from before June 2004 then I would try the 55007800 Drain Assembly.
