Will this work with an SD-80?

Hi Allison, Yes this is used on the Sand Dollar SD-80 filter if your filter is from 2009 to current. If your filter is from prior to 2009 then you would require this Sand Dollar Drain Plug.

Does this cap include the rubber gasket inside ? If not, what is the gasket part number ? Actually my cap is OK but the gasket is torn causing my drain to have a slight leak.

Hi Vick, no this does not include the gasket we do carry the Drain Cap Gasket by itself.

Hello would this drain plug work with the SD-40 Pentair?

Hi, This Grain Cap can be use with the SD-40 manufactured from 2009 to current. If you have an older unit you will need the Drain Plug 1/4" (154699).

I have a Pentair Quad DE 60 filter dated 2010 and the plug cap (p/n 154712) broke off and became separated from the plug itself. The plug has a slotted groove to remove/install and the seal is holding however it is difficult to access the groove. Is this component composed of three pieces (plug, o-ring, and cap), and if what are the part numbers?

Hi, Frank. This is just a cap which has female threads.

I have the same question as above. We have the Pentair FNS Plus 60 manufacture date of 09/16/2009. The cap seemingly broke off while I was trying to get it off. The part that broke off is 154712. As the person above mentioned, it appears the plug piece that has a screwdriver slot is still in place w/ the o-ring and is not leaking. Thought this was all 1 piece when I removed it prior, so I'm a bit confused what I need to replace at this point. Please advise what all makes up this drain

So this piece is half of what I need. My drain plug has this but then a male end with O ring. Cant find that part anywhere even though both my part and this one have the same 154712 stamped on top

Troy, The other part of this drain cap would be the 154711. I do not see an o-ring associated with this part, however. The drain cap gasket is 154715.

Im looking for the correct drain cap for the Pentair Clean and Clear 420, the one it says to order for it is too small, does anyone have any experience with this model?

Hello Michael, so depending on the year your filter was manufactured that will determine which one of two possible drain cap types that you may have. Please click here to view the manufacturer's parts diagram for your filter. Key numbers 18 and 19 are the two style drain caps for your series filter.
