I have a Hayward c5025 filter that was installed around 2005-06. It uses the old style clamp. The bottom tank has developed a crack. Will the new style lower tank and clamp mate up to my old style top or do I need a new filter? I cannot seem to find an old style lower tank.

Hi Mark, unfortunately, the clamp assembly for the Hayward Super Star-Clear Cartridge Filter model C-2000 is no longer manufactured with no replacement. You may be able to locate a used one locally or consider a new complete filter. The Waterway Crystal Water 325 sqft Pool Cartridge Filter is an option.

Hi Andrea, Yes this is the correct bottom filter tank for the C4520BH Filter. We had been out of stock on these for several months due to the TX storms and we just got 10 in yesterday! I imagine these 10 will sell out in the next few days, so I would suggest purchasing sooner than later =)

Hi Pam, Unfortunately this tank bottom does not interchange with the C4000 and the C4000 tank body has been discontinued by the manufacturer. It may be time for a new filter, something like this Hayward 425 Sq. Ft. Filter or this Waterway 425 Sq. Ft. Filter.
