Does Maytronics make a cleaner for above ground pools? Dolphin cleaners seem to get the best reviews, and am looking for one for an above ground pool.

The Maytronics Quest cleaner is not designed for vinyl above ground pools. We recommend the Pool Rover Jr for flat bottom above ground pools.

Does the Quest come with both types of media included -- the bag and micro filter cartridges? If not, can they be purchase separately?

The Maytronics Quest Robotic Pool Cleaner comes with the standard filter bag. We do not have a specific parts list yet for this cleaner, but a we do carry a number of compatible replacement parts for the Maytronics pool cleaner line.

We bought this pool cleaner about 3 years ago. It no longer works. How long is warranty period and where can I get it repaired? I live in ojai, California , Ventura county.

The warranty period on the Maytronics Quest pool cleaner is 2 years. You can take your pool cleaner to any major chain pool store (Leslie's maybe) in your area or you can contact Maytronics directly at 888-365-7446 for a repair shop closer to you.

are there other filters that need to be replaced other than emptying bag?
Will this work well on a pool that has pebbletek coating?

Hi Ray, The Filter Bag is all that you will have to empty out after the cleaner has been used. This unit can also be used with a pebbletec surface pool.

How to I remove it from the pool if it stops in the deep end?

For my pool I either gently pull on the cord to pull the cleaner to the shallow end or... turn the power supply on again and wait until the cleaner gets to the shallow end and then power down the cleaner.

Can I use this model in my vinyl liner pool? I have read that some robotic cleaners are not recommended for use with vinyl liner pools. My pool is a 16x32 in ground.

Does this cleaner remain in the pool while swimming?is there any danger from electricity to the swimmer? What is the capacity of the filter bag .we live in a wooded area and often have wind storms that can leave a bushel of tree debris in the pool.we currently skim the srface and the bottom with pool net on a pole.16x32 pool takes a long time.

Hi, It is not recommended that you keep this unit in the pool. It uses low voltage AC current so you will not be electrocuted. This cleaner does not have a bag but 4 Spring Cartridges.

Maytronics Dolphin Quest...has this been discontinued. I have had one since 2012 and it just rolled over and died. Maytronics wants $450 to repair it and ship it back to me. I might be better off buying a new one from you guys. I would appreciate a reply.

They still make that model but it is now sold under the Nautilus model name.
