How often do you need to replace these filters, and are they reusable if you just rinse then out for a season?

The filters are reusable and can be rinsed clean. The length of time between replacement would depend on the amount of time the cleaner is in operation as well as the amount of debris that has been collected. Inspect the filters whenever you clean the debris out and if you notice any rips or tears or if you notice a significant decrease in water flow/operation, that would be an indicator to replace the filters.

The original screens started to come apart after 6 or 7 years of hard use and these from INYO are original equipment replacements at a fair price. Prompt delivery and I was back in business cleaning up the pool from its winter nap.
