Is the LED that comes in this package a 18w or 35w? My pool had a 250w halogen. I want to be sure it will produce enough lite.

Hi Seth, This light here is the smaller 5 watt light that normally goes in a spa. If you need a larger pool light then any of the pool light fixtures on PureColors Light Page are 35 Watt.

I have an old American Products Spa Light that I need to replace. It's model 7711XX02 and is a 100 Watt 120 volt light. It is installed in a 7824 niche in a concrete pool. Will the PL5861 Spa lite be a direct replacement? Are there any others that will fit. thanks Franco

If you will be using this for a concrete, marcite, pebble tech or Diamond Brite installation then the proper niche is this Pentair Spa Brite Light Niche

I currently have a Fiberstar FX-SPA light 120V. I want to replace the fixture and bulb. I am unsure which niche is compatible. It’s a concrete pool and looks like one of Pentair niche. Just want to be sure it will fit and can use the same mounting bracket with pilot screw. Also want it to work with standard on/off switch for color changing led.

I'm trying to replace a broken pool light with a modern LED one. I have an 'American' 77XXXX, 250 WATT, 120Volts, T-4. It sounds like I need to find a light that fits my existing niche. Photos attached. Is this light an option or would you recommend something else? Thanks.

Hi Ryan, Yes if wanted to go LED then you will need to replace your entire fixture and this PL5861 PureColors Light Fixture would be the proper replacement for the light in your photos.

My pool (built in the mid 90s) currently has 120v pool and spa lights made by Pac-Fab. I want to replace both pool and spa light with this LED bulb & Pentair fixture combo. Are Pac Fab niches compatible? My spa light has a label that says "Fixture for swimming pool niche type number K-903662" and "Model 64-115x" and "use fixture housing #66-100x or 66-101x". Thanks!!

My spa light is on an automated switch that turns on at 7:00 PM and off at 11:00 PM. Is this item going to turn on a different color every night, or can I set it some way that it is always just white light?

A  Answered on 9/18/2019 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi, Jim. Unfortunately, it will not. The bulb will not work with the circuit being on a timer. You will have to install an On/Off switch.

I want to switch my Pentair 120v, 250W to LED. I don't understand how the colors are controlled. I am currently on an Aqualink system, and just comes on and goes of every night. Because the LED is switch controlled, does that mean every night it comes on it will be a different color than the night before until it cycles back to white? Can I get a more detailed answer? I spoke with someone there who was going to send me a copy of the manual, but it never came as promised. Thanks - Jim

Hi, Jim. In order to control this LED fixture, the circuit will need an On/Off switch. The bulb will only change color by turning off/on the circuit within 2 seconds. PureLine PureColors LED 120V Owners Manual
