MAX-E-PRO PUMPS By Sta-Rite
SUPERIOR HYDRAULIC DESIGN MOVES MORE WATER, RESULTING IN LOWER ELECTRICAL COSTS
This new high efficiency, low maintenance pump is designed for maximum performance for the modern pool. Advanced state-of-the-art hydraulics means that Max-E-Pro delivers more water resulting in lower electrical costs. It will keep your pool crystal clear as well as run your automatic cleaner and any other hydraulic accessories around your pool. Not only is this pump energy efficient, it is ultra quiet. Special dampening in and around the pump’s base makes Max-E-Pro one of the quietest pumps in its class.
The extra large 6” trap collects more debris, allowing you to clean the trap less often. Our clear see-thru lid allows you to check for debris without removing the lid. The new Quick-Lock trap cover ring makes loosening or tightening the trap a cinch. Max-E-Pro is self-priming and produces enough suction to lift water 5-feet above pool level. Large 2” ports include external and internal threads to adapt to a variety of pipe sizes.
The Max-E-Pro is built to last, constructed of Sta-Rite’s glass reinforced resin that is corrosion-proof and can withstand many years of U.V. sunlight. This season, invest in the energy efficient, low-maintenance pump that really moves the water – Max-E-Pro by Sta-Rite. 110/230V UL Listed and NSF. Backed by a 1-Year Warranty.

Hello, I have MAX-E-GLAS II pool pump, Model number P4E6E-187L 1.0hp, what is a good replacement option? I would like to stay with Sta Rite but open to other options.
Hi, Steve. This Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro Pump is a great replacement for the Max-E-Glas II model P4E6E-187L pump.
I have a Max-E-Glas II p4e6e-151L with a 1HP motor, what should I replace it with to get the same flow rate and pressure performance with better efficiency.
i currently have a sta rite Model P6E6E-206L I would like to replace it with a high efficiency unit what model would I go to replace this one and will it connect to the original plumbing?
Hi. There is not a more efficient single option. You will have to switch to a dual or variable speed if your system is capable.
What is a good replacement for a StaRight model P2R5E-125?
I have a StaRite P6E6E-206L (Max-E Pro?) pump, w/ a K48L2pA105 (A.O. Smith?) 1-HP motor. 1.65-SFHP, 3,450-RPM, 115/230-V. Someone replaced this motor about 6 years back, and now I need a replacement. Wondering if they used the rite motor? When I look up the motor mdl. # on the website, I get QC1102 as a replacement. If I look up the pump mdl. #, it looks to show something different. I just need a new motor & a Go-Kit. Ugh! My head is spinning! What would you suggest? Thanks
i have a 36000 gal Inground pool the pump I have now is 1 hp 230 v is this a good pick
Hi Scott, yes the max-e-pro is a great pump and if what you have already is a 1HP and it had been doing the job then I wouldn't switch unless you plan on adding extra water features in the future that will require an increased flow rate.
Is this a good combination for a 24,000 gal pool with equipment located about 40 feet from pool skimmer return:
1. Max-Pro-E (1 horse pump) (Model#P6E6E-206L)
2. System 3 Cartridge filter (what size?/is there a valve needed between pump for waste, etc?)
3. Max-E-Therm LP Heater (what size?)
4. Intellichlor/with pwr supply (what size?)
My pool is 22,000 gal, 75 FoW, 1 1/2 in pipe. I replaced an old 1 hp. Sta-Rite pump (looked like the Max-E-Pro style), with a 1 hp. Pentair Superflo. Doesn't pull hard enough to clean pool and died after 3 yrs. Would like to go back to the Sta-Rite but the Max-E-Pro owners manual says not to attach anything smaller than 2 in. to the 2 in. suction inlet. Am I stuck with buying a pump with 1 1/2 in. fittings?
Hi Dave, You can use a reducer but it would be better to get a pump that can fits your pipe size.
How do I figure "total head" and gallons per minute for a Stay Rite max e pro p6ea6e205L?
Bill, You can use the flow chart that is located in the product description to see the GPM to total head this pump can generate.
I have a sta-rite max e glas 1hp pea5e-181l pool pump, will the max-e-pro fit in with the same sizes (physical size out-put as my pump? I have not been able to find one the same as my good old one tk you, Al
Because the Sta-rite Max e Glass is no longer made, I am unable to find the overall dimensions of this pump. However, we do have dimension of the Max-E-Pro. Depending on the exact model you buy, the overall length averages about 26" and the overall height is approximately 14.2", with a 2" intake and out take.

Pros: great pump, quiet and powerful, install easily
Had good help from Inyo in selecting the right model pump and they found one close by so shipping was quicker. Pump was better than expected and easy to install. Couldn't believe how quiet and powerful. Replaced the same size but old pump just can't be compared. Even my supply side pool cleaner booster pump operates better with more action and suction. While pump isn't cheap, it was half the cost of having my pool servcing company supply and install a similar one.

Pros: Prompt Service, they do what they say
Cons: Damage can occur during shipping
I ordered the Max-E-Pro 1 HP to replace my worn out unit. It arrived promptly but was damaged in shipping. INYO sent a replacement as soon as UPS picked up the damaged one. The 2nd one arrived, again promptly, on time and undamaged. Install was quick and easy. The new pump runs like a dream. Thank You INYO for your prompt service and great product.

Pros: Big strainer, easy lid, great hook-up fittings.
Purchased to replace a 27 year old pump of the same brand. The larger strainer basket, cam top and fittings are brilliant. Installation require a bit of pipe work as the distances were not quite the same but worth the effort. What a difference in flow. Made good use of the pool before the end of season. Great value, thanks
