This upgrade kit will convert a Sta-Rite Dura-Glas into a 1.65HP variable speed pump. We've packaged the correct sized impeller to ensure maximum efficiency and a heavy-duty shaft seal for ultimate durability.

Note: The shaft seal included with this kit will work on Dura-Glas model manufactured since 1998. It will work on older models if the copper cone in the seal plate is removed before installing the shaft seal.

Hello Carol. The Dura-Glas Upgrade Kit, MKIT6VS16, features the V-Green 1.65 HP Square Flange 48Y Variable Speed Motor - ECM16SQU. The V-Green 165 variable speed motor is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 18 months from the date of purchase or 24 months from the date of manufacture, whichever comes first. I am looking for replacement motor for Sta-rite Max e pro (Model-P6E6F-207L). Instead of single phase, I want to upgrade to variable speed.
Can I use this one or MKTI79VS16?.

Hello Andrew. The Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro P6E6F-207L is a 2.2 total horsepower pump. Because both the MKIT79VS16 and the MKIT79VS22 come complete with the appropriately sized impeller and diffuser per motor horsepower, either KIT is compatible with the Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro P6E6F-207L.
