I need to replace my cell, however, do I need to replace the cord as well?

A  Answered on 5/20/2015 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Kari, If your cord is still in good condition you can replace just the cell and reuse the cord you have. If you need the replacement cord you can find it in the Auto Pilot Super Cells Parts.

How can you tell when it's time to replace the SC-48? The pool pilot shows 22 volts at 5 amps. The red light is not flashing but it doesn't seem to be producing clorine. Thank

How old is your current cell? Cells should be replaced about 3-5 years, possibly longer, depending on use. You can reach out to manufacture AutoPilot directly, have them trouble shoot the unit with you and they will be able to confirm if the cell needs to be replaced. Their website and contact information may be viewed here

Does your replacement cell SC 48 come with the entire manifold or is it just the cell? Do you carry the plug for the electric for this cell?

A  Answered on 2/19/2007 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

The SC48 is just the replacement cell without the manifold, we do sell the entire manifold and cell together which you may view through this link The SC48 does not come with the plug, we do sell the 12 Foot plug separately which you may view through this link This plug is designed to be used with either the Soft Touch (ST) or Digital Units (DIG) We also carry this product in a 24' length which you may view here If you are just replacing your cell and the old cord is not bad you may use your old cord on the new cell
