Here is the best way to store the cover for the summer by following these steps: 1. Clean the Cover of any debris before removing it. 2. Remove the Cover Springs and Screw Down Anchors. 3. How you remove the cover from your pool is important for minimizing damage risks. Start at one end of the cover and fold the cover in small sections in an accordion-style until your reach the end. Carefully remove it from the end of the swimming pool and set it on a flat clean surface. 4. Clean the Cover thoroughly by spreading it out on a clean section of your lawn and clean it thoroughly using a mild detergent mixed with water. You want to wait for the cover to be dry before you store it away. Once dry, fold the cover in half as many times as possible until it is small enough to fit in the storage bag that was supplied with it. When storing the cover, do not set it on the floor.

Pros: good idea
Cons: don't work with strong winds
These clips may be good for in town use, but I live in the country and have strong winds which causes the clips to come off. I even tried three clips on each section. I ordered a pack of (30) and a pack of (10) so I had plenty.

These are wonderful. I have used jugs of water to hold the cover in the past with mixed results. These clips are much better and will not over stress the cover as jugs can.
