I need to replace my DE pool filter, which is a Nautilus NS 60 Pac Fab, stainless steel. Is your Pentair FNS Plus 60 sq ft and a 2" backwash valve compatible?

Yes we would definitely suggest the FNS Plus 60 as a perfect replacement DE Filter for your Nautilus NS 60 Pac Fab, stainless steel filter. The plumbing ports will not be in the exact location as your old filter, so there will be some minor re-plumbing required. The 2" backwash valve is purchased separately, thanks for the question.

Hello I have a Purex Triton FNS Plus - FNSP 60.
I would like to know if this is the correct filter to buy? Also, will I need any other parts?

If you are looking at replacing your entire filter than yes this would be the correct filter. You would also need a FNS Plus Backwash Valve which is purchased separately.

I need to replace a torn cartridge what kind does it use? Is there a generic brand of cartridge

I have a Pac-Fab FNS 36 Filter and this year when i am using the vac i see partials coming out of the return, i have back washed and cleaned the filters but i still see the partials coming out of the return. The filter keep the water good and clean, does this mean i need to replace the filter and if so which model would you recommend?

Hi, You can replace the grid your Pac-Fab FNS 36 with a FNS Plus 48 Sq Ft Filter w/o Valve or if you would like to over size the FNS Plus 60 Sq Ft Filter w/o Valve will be better.

Replacement of an old cracked unit. Was delivered several days after being ordered and arrived in perfect condition. Simple replacement, remove old unit and install new unit. Completed replacement in 30 minutes.

This filter came on time and was the exact replacement I ordered. It was advertised as sold with no valve but my wife discovered a new valve and stem tucked inside a carboard fold as we were about to discard the box, nice surprise! Removed the old filter and installed the new one in less than 5 minutes, primed and ready for action. Still working excellent.

This was a replacement for an older filter of the same model (fiberglass tank) it is approx. 3/4 inch lower. It will need to be raised or re plumbed,if replace older style. The seller was quick to ask for additional info, shipping truck freight Florida to Arizona one week. Very acceptable

This is the 3rd Pentair DE Filter I have used with our 60,000 gallon pool. Considering the pool was built in 1993, I would say these filters hold up well. Nothing cleans particles from the water as well as a DE filter. It is such a beautiful site to see a huge pool with crystal clear water and the sunlight dancing on the pool floor.

Great filter, but be aware that it is not a direct replacement for it's predecssor, the FNS 60. Must be raised about 1/4", we used some leftover tiles we had. We also had to do some modifications on the pvc piping. Not too difficult, but unexpected Good filter and great, fast shipping.
