My question to you : is it Possible to buy the base part of a Model PTM100 - Sta-Rite Posi-Flo ll 100 Sq Filter, I broke off an Outlet Tube in the Base. That tube was glued in. Or is there a way I can get that broken tube out ? Again should I just replace that Filter with the New one's. I want to keep that Filter because it's so easy to maintain.

Hi Austin, You can replace the Base With Pipe Plug (WC104-78P), or replace the entire unit with a different cartridge filter.

my media filter is brand new, no holes or tears, but after about 20 min of vacuuming, i can see a 'cloud' of what i just cleaned returning to the pool thru the ports. I have verified the filter media is seated properly (red down, blue up) and seated snug into the base.
not sure what is happening.

Charlie, Anything smaller than 10-15 microns will pass through the cartridge back into the pool. You will need to us a flocculent to help the cartridge trap the finer particles.

What would be the filter system that replaces this discontinued PTM100? Re-plumbing is alright. Just want a comparable product. Thank You!

Hi Shaynee, The Pentair Clean & Clear 100 would be a nice replacement for the PTM100 Filter
