Does the unit come with the caddy and the PVC brush for in-ground plaster/masonite/concrete pools?

The NE250 (DL2019) does include the brush. The caddy is sold separately and can be seen on our web site at Dolphin Caddy

I've had a Polaris cleaner for 15 years and need to replace it. How does it compare to the NE250? Can I use the same booster motor?

The NE250 is a robotic cleaner. It's a little different than the Polaris, but is one of the more popular cleaners on the market. It does not require a booster pump, but rather sucks everything into its own internal filter bag. The bag needs to be emptied periodically, similar to a household vacuum. The Dolphin cleaner will also climb up the sides of your pool unlike the Polaris pressure pool cleaner. We recommend the Dolphin over the older Polaris models.

Our pool is a group of three overlapping or intersecting rectangles. There are inside corners with 90 degree turns as well as outside corners with 270 degree turns. Will the Dolphin Diagnostic, NE250 navigate the outside 270 degree turns?

The swimming pool does not have to be rectangular or round. It can be any shape and the Dolphin will navigate around the swimming pool. It may favor some parts of your pool, but should clean around the entire swimming pool.

It's my second Dolphin pool cleaner. I had the exact same model when I was in France and when I moved to the US it was a no brainer. It's super easy to use, the main trick being cleaning regularly the vaccuum bag (compared to the time you spend setting up a pump cleaner, it's really nothing). Just plug it in before going to bed and wake up with a clean pool, it that simple!

Pros: Solid, effective vacuum
I had a Dolphin Commander for three years. When it died, I bought this as a replacement. It seems to be identical to my old machine except for the colorful case. This new one does a good job picking up debris and climbs partway up my walls (fiberglass). However, it does not seem to like the shallow end of my pool, so I sometimes have to pull it back up to the shallow end.

Cons: Heavy, cord coils, poor instructions, need space to store.
Does a great job at cleaning. Good price on line; save $170 from the price in the store. Instruction very poor. Bag is large and not as easily cleaned as shown in video and instruction states be sure logo is on the out side; no logo on the bag I received! Unless you can lift more than 40 lb very heavy to left out of pool. Electrical cord coils up in pool and you must keep uncoiling cord. Does not come with cart shown in video so you must carry a large heavy pool vac and have somewhere to store this very large cleaner you have a problem

This has been a fantastic pool cleaner. You will never vacuum the pool again - this cleaner will do that for you. No scrubbing the walls - put the Dolphin in and let it do the work. We swim more and clean less!

I am very pleased w/ the cleaner. It is fast and efficient. My only complaint is that it does not climb my stairs or our seating area. It will go veritcal easly, but will not do stairs

I had read other reviews of this product prior to purchaseing it. I looked for the flaws that other reviews had mentioned, most noteably staying in the deep end of the pool and not climbing steps. The Dolphin did seem to spend more time in the deep end of the pool, however debries that were in the shallow end were not there at the end of the cleaning cycle. I brushed the pool after every cleaning and did not find any "missed spots". Our house is close to a large area of undevloped land and the amounts of fine windblown dirt settleing on the bottom of the pool has always been a problem. Being a cynic I did'nt expect this product to perform as well as advertisied. I don't impress easily but I was quite impressed by the amount of dirt captured by the filter bag and removed from the pool. Cleanup and maintanince are a breeze I just rince the filter bag off after use, throwing it in the washing machine every 4-6 uses and it comes out as if it were new. I would not hesitate to recomend this product to anybody. Although it didnt climb the steps well it did travel over the operating pop-up heads in the bottom fo the pool with no problen.
