Hi Sandy, This valve here is the generic version of the Jacuzzi 39263105 and will work as a replacement. The plumbing port configuration on this valve is a little different from the original so you may have some slight re-plumbing. If you would like the Original Valve then you view or purchase that valve by clicking this link here Jacuzzi DVK7C Valve that valve will have the same plumbing port configuration as your current valve.

I have an MFM 17 and I believe this would fit. My question is, do I need to purchase any other parts or do I just unbolt the old and install this in its place. I don't want to order and find out I need gaskets and all kinds of other parts too.
Reply
Hi Mike, Typically all you need is this valve just replace the old valve with this new valve. To be on the safe side you may want to get the gasket that goes between the valve and the filter tank. If you may view that o-ring by clicking this link.. MFM Valve to Tank Gasket

Will this fit Laser 192 with Jaccuzi Value - 6 Position
Hi Drew, could you let us know if you valve screws on or clamps on with a clamp? Also approximately how old is your filter?
Reply
Hi Please see attached pic. It looks like its bolt on rather than clamp on. The filter is about 15 years old.
Hi Drew, thanks for the photos those were helpful! You can use this 4625-80 Praher Valve as a replacement for your valve as it will mount to your filter tank fine. However this valve does not have the plumbing ports in the exact same spot as your old valve so you will have a little re-plumbing. If you would like the exact valve as you currently have then you will require this Jacuzzi DVK6 Valve at $156

I have an old Jacuzzi MFM 15 sand filter. The valve assembly is held on by six bolts and the valve assembly no longer diverts the water correctly so that water is always pouring out all ports. What options will work for this filter? A friend has a Jacuzzi laser sand filter who doesn't need it - would their valve be compatible?
I'm unsure of age. Do you know with this model? Do you think I'd be better getting a brand new one entirely?

Less than a week later it was on my doorstep just as promised. Great support from your staff! The valve I ordered couldn't have been any simpler to install. One tip from me is to check your gasket and order a new one if neccasary. I was lucky. My old one was still good

Reviewed By: Survivor from El Mirage AZ ()
Pros: It works
Cons: It leaks, can't yet quite get it to work right, no instructions came with it
The product did not come with instructions. We managed to install it ourselves, and it actually worked but, when it came time to do the backwash the water didn't come out dirty like before, brownish color, it came out clean so therefore I assume its not properly installed, but we had no instructions and kind of went by it looks OK. So were struggling to get it right. And when we do the backwash function it leaks from the bottom attachment. So we need to figure that out too. So were wondering if it was a wise decision on buying this product and not actually waiting for the original part.????

Pros: Low cost, Only replacement still available
Cons: Needed some simple mods
Installed on a Jacuzzi Laser filter. Some simple plumbing mods required due to changes in connector locations and had to ream out top opening a bit with a burnishing tool as to slightly larger diameter of base that fits into filter tank but well worth the 10-15 minutes it took to do the mods rather than replace entire filter as several local shops told me I would have to do. Thanx!
