This is an After-Market Lid Clamp for the Pentair WhisperFlo Pool Pump by Val Pak.
My pool pump is a 2 hp whisper flo which I have had fir over 12 yrs. How do I know which gasket I need?

Hi Richard, There have been two lids used on the Pentair Whisperflo pumps over the years and each use a different gasket. For Whisperflo pumps before November 1998 they used a stainless steel band clamp to secure the pump lid and this style lid uses The Old Whisperflo Lid O-ring. For Whisperflo pumps after November 1998 they used a plastic locking ring to secure the pump lid and this style lid uses The New Whisperflo Lid O-ring. I hope this helps!

The Lock Ring Clamp - Almond (357199) 5074-011 is the correct locking ring for the Cover Lexan (357151).

Does the lid superflo pump #350091 fit inside this lock ring clamp? I have the pentair lock ring

Was having a troublesome leak, possible around the original clamp and cover. I decided to replace it. Found the part number; INYOPools had it in stock, at reasonable price.
Removal and install of new one requires only careful use of hammer, preferably a rubber mallet. Give one arm a couple gentle taps, and once it is loosened, turn the rest of the way by hand. Easy.
