Hi, Michelle S. This Jandy CS200 cartridge is not compatible with any Hayward Cartridge filter. Please confirm the make and model of you filter to ensure that you get the correct replacement.

Open tank, take out filter cartridge, clean tank, replace new filter cartridge, close up tank.
Done, sparking clean water. (Treated water before new filter cartridge install)

Shut off power, bleed off pressure through valve and basket before pump. Remove the top of filter pod. Take out old filter and replace with new filter. Replace top of filter pod and close top for basket before pump. Turn power back on and restart pump.

Pressure increases as filter is fouled. Cleaning brings pressure down but eventually the clean pressure rises by 20-25%. This indicates it's time to replace.
1. Order Replacement
2. Turn off pump.
3. Open housing
4. Drain, clean housing and replace.
5. Clean re-lube o-rings.
6. Tighten fasteners
7. Restart pump and vent air from fitting on top of filter.
8. Note date for maint records and record new "clean" pressure

My gauge was high and no flow in the pool. I cut pool off and removed filter cartridge and it was clogged. Put in New filter and within 1 HR pool was getting debris back out of pool with great water flow. Great product.

Inypools delivered a pool filter within a few days of ordering it when the local pool companies said it would be at least a month. The filter was also $50.00 cheaper.
