Will I be able to remove my twist lock plug from my burnt out jacuzzi and splice it to this new pump?

Yes you could use your old cord on the new pump. You would not need to splice as there should be spade connectors where the cord attaches and detatches so you should be able to loosen these to remove and re-apply cord.

this price does include 1.5 hp motor, mounting bracket, etc. as shown in picture? does it not?

Pros: Quiet
The hookup was easy and the new motor is whisper quiet. Comes with a straining basket. Requires the fittings from the old pump.

Pros: Relable, powerful circulation.
This was a replacement for the original, which served a 20 x 40 foot pool for about 10 years. Same brand, same model. Strongly recommended.
