Will this new style cover fit on an old style (2007 and earlier) Northstar pump?

Hi, The New Style Northstar Strainer Cover will not work in the earlier Northstar models pumps. You would need the Strainer Cover Kit (2007 & Prior) (SPX4000DLT) if you use chlorine as the sanitizer or p/n SPX4000DLTB for Biguanide Sanitizers.

Based on the photo of your housing you will need Tri Star Strainer Cover Kit (spx3200dls).

This new style strainer cover is extremely easy to open. I am able to use one hand while opening this cover.
