The Piston Rod Assembly is an aftermarket replacement part by CMP for Hayward SP-410X Slide Valve. This valve is commonly used on the Hayward Micro Clear & Pro Grid DE filters. This is the internals only for the SP0410 Series valves.
Does this slide valve replacement come with nut on top that holds the assembly into valve body?

Gail- The 25831-000-100 Slide Valve Internal, (SPX0410BA) does include the 2 o-rings.

Bottom of slide valve, what is the size. Mine only fits one that is 2 inches wide.

Hi Angel, The piston diameter is 2-3/16 inches, which will fit the 2" Hayward Slide Valve - SP410X.

Pros: Lower cost than OEM
Cons: Phone clerk did not mention manufacturer
The product was not OEM but seems to be a good lower cost replacement. The proof will be how long it lasts--after all the OEM had to be replaced.
